9. bro pets will be picky if they think they can be, lmfao i give luna other foods in smoothie form, or heat up vegtables bc Luna's a liar but Dallas know the diffrence lmfao

10. i got luna my husky a phone collar bc she was young and runs and it tracked her health (I sanitized and bangaged her feet and watched for infections)

11. we do educational and tv and therapy with them

12. Dallas needed space & saftey (some adventure), Luna needed Training, Anxiety(Medical & Home) & Socializing, Chelsea & Dutchess needed end of life care and gereatric care.

13. id be lying but luna can use an indoor potty and they will say its insane but it give luna more control if I had 12-14 hour shifts. lots of cleaning and a safe space for this, this helped her learn potty breaks also.

14. luna and dallas both enjoy walks, fun days etc but ya

15. deshedding helps, a robot that cleans the floors saved all of our lives.

16. training is fun, it helped luna learn listening, i drilled luna on don't run in streets but its confusing for luna sometimes.

17. both dallas and luna love enrichment of all kinds, puzzles, kongs, buttons, edu shows or fun stories too.

18. luna thinks earning money for her bank account is cute. I don't actually ever spend luna's or dallas's money. but i cry bc I've built emergeny savings too many times.

19. luna and dallas enjoyed home cooked meals even if it wasn't filling enough, bc i didn't know how to do pet calorie math.

20. doing an inventory or reflecting on their moods lately helps a lot tbh.

21. Day one with both of them I had 1 million pet gates bc Dallas is smaller and Luna didn't understand how small Dallas is, plus I had gym equipment in the house so the gates were incredibly helpful.

22. Fall of 2022 after the Car accident in Nevada and facing job loss I strongly considered surrendering or bring them back to their original families, but I was also told not to rehome them and they can't go back to animal shelters, so we pushed much farther than need be. This shit kills me every god damn day bc im my own personal life I was in 3 respite homes and 49 temporary stay the weekend type shit. Luna legit has the medical paperwork for was in a shit situation before and the PTSD so idk yall can judge, car or no car Mia kept them sane and they are fucking pets not humans. So Mia would love to punch every single person who thought 2020-2026 was a god damn joke.

23. Both Dallas and Luna have an issue with the concept don't jump or do dangerous shit.

24. Luna (age6/7) is quiet mostly now, very thoughtful, sleeping to much in 2026, is learning life can be serious. Dallas (age 9/10) is rebellious or dismissive but still hilarious until you tell Dallas life is serious.

    2. every safety seat belt for dogs literally wtf, those people are evil. the pet divider helps luna who wants to be in the front seat, I stopped using the lead on Luna idk maybe a month or two into having her.

    5. PET CAGES WTF, i gave luna a literal charm that says don't pull that shit on luna ever.

    6. dog therapy/ college/ school was suggested and I wanted to, turns out she's fine its only certain dogs, and a youtube video just answered that question.

    7. I had a very strict schedule with luna the first year tbh.

    8. pet vitamins, most over the counter pet supply shit, idk vet math so literally its cheaper if you let the vets do their thing.

    9. designer dog toys and cat toys are lies with pretty packaging, both of those fucks❤️ like homemade toys and puzzles or enrichment. (Or beds, life hack, a mattress pad with a $10 pet bed and luna loves it more)

    10. I'm still letting Luna keep a toy from her first homes even if it got torn up by a young dog lmfao.

    11. pet anxiety spray or house defusers is great, remember the dosing of all animals in the house and the reverse affect of all influences. (Hence why over the counter shit even irritates me)

the above notes are just 2025 shit I could remember I went through last year. I literally defined it. I had at least 5 streams of income lost in 2025. So no I am a little fed up. this list was supposed to make me feel better about what I overcame and its actually just a reminder of why luna doesn't go on enough walks.
