Why I’ve been a little quiet — and how we can still stay connected

If you’ve noticed I’ve been a little quieter than usual on Facebook and Instagram, here’s what’s going on: both of my social platforms are currently under review and temporarily restricted. No, I didn’t do anything wild — but when you’re a creative, sensual, and independent woman online, sometimes the algorithm doesn’t play nice. 💅🏼

I’ve officially joined a club I never wanted to be part of — this is my first time being flagged and restricted like this, but I’m fully aware that it’s incredibly common in the adult industry. Censorship, false reports, and shadowbans hit creators like me hard, and often for reasons that have nothing to do with actual content violations.

In my case, the immediate concern raised was whether I was impersonating myself.

Yes… they actually questioned whether I was impersonating Mia Amore.

As strange and surreal as that sounds, I’ve submitted everything they asked for — facial scans, ID, identity verification — and now, I’m waiting while they review everything and hopefully reinstate full access.

Unfortunately, this all came on the heels of suspicious activity:

🖤 A Tumblr account was created under my name and email without my consent

🖤 My Facebook password reverted to a very old one I haven’t used in years. Suspicious? Incredibly. On July 16 around 10:48 PM, while I was napping, my Facebook password was suspiciously changed

🖤 By midnight on July 17, both my Facebook and Instagram accounts were fully restricted and placed under review. The timing couldn’t be a coincidence — it’s likely this activity is what triggered the lockout

📄 In the past, anytime my security has been compromised, I’ve made an official police report when appropriate — and I take every necessary step to protect myself, my content, and my peace of mind.

As someone who truly loves interacting on social media, connecting with admirers, teasing photo sets, and sharing pieces of my journey — this is frustrating, but not paralyzing.
